Hair Dryer Help in Brasilia

International travel, while fun, can be full of unexpected surprises. While I was fully prepared with the power adapter/converter, I was not prepared when the hair dryer at a hotel in Brasilia, Brazil, had not an on/off switch, but a blue push-in button that needed to be held down to keep the hot air flowing. For ladies with lots of hair to dry, this made for a slightly sore thumb and a big annoyance. Gaff tape held down that button with ease.
